A cool winter breeze was upon us this past weekend for the 16th Annual Festival of Trees. The festivities on Saturday were kicked off by the United Methodist Church Cookie Walk at the Malvern Rescue Center along with the Holiday Vendor Market at the East Mills High School. Decorated Trees from various organizations, groups, local business' and area residents graced the gym at the Liberty Memorial Community Building all day. The fire bell from the Peter Pirsch Fire Engine announce the arrival of "Santa" who received the Christmas wishes of children at the Wortman Cabin. The evening wrapped up with the 2nd Annual Malvernia.com Tree Lighting in Heritage Park along with the Festival Steak Dinner, a benefit for Friends of the Library at the Community Building. It was a fantastic day filled with Holiday Spirit for the whole community.
Later,
