EAST MILLS AREA YOUTH SPORTS

This year has brought about several changes to the Malvern Area Youth Sports program. First of which would be the name change to East Mills Area Youth Sports... a change made to accommodate students from both districts. Second would be the sponsorship of the Malvern Area Lions Club...and the third major change would be the joining of the "Pride of Iowa Youth Football League". E-MAYS is a member of the American League West with a regular season record of 2-4. This past Saturday the E-MAYS Senior Team came out on top 7-0 against Bethany Purple in their playoff game at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA.

Three of the Senior Team players were named to the American League West All Star team and will compete this Sunday October 26th again at Graceland University. Players named to the All Star team are: Gabe Barney of Malvern, Cavin Darnold of Malvern and Colton Story of Henderson.




Congratulations to all three boys as well as the rest of the team on their inaugural season in the league.
